Refurbished Dell hot-swap power supply units for PowerEdge rack and blade servers - including 495W, 550W, 750W, 1100W, and 1600W variants for PowerEdge R620, R630, R640, R720, R730, R740, R750, R760, and M-Series blade chassis. 

PowerEdge servers are designed for N+1 power redundancy - two PSUs configured so that either can carry the full server load independently. When one fails in a production environment, the other continues operating while the failed unit is replaced. This hot-swap replacement requires no downtime and no server reboot - provided the replacement PSU is available quickly.

For managed service providers and IT departments maintaining large PowerEdge fleets, we can advise on appropriate PSU sparing ratios based on equipment and criticality.

Dell PSU wattage compatibility matters. A PowerEdge R740 configured with high-TDP Intel Xeon Platinum processors, multiple GPU cards, and full drive bays may require 750W or 1100W PSUs - a 495W PSU will not provide sufficient power for a fully loaded R740 configuration.
